SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Center and SRM Dental College are situated in Chennai. SRM University was declared as a deemed university by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 2003-2004. The functionality of SRM medical college began from the year 2003-04 when the Medical and Health Sciences was opened and since then this examination is conducted each year.
SRM has sprawling campus for medicine and health sciences in Kattankulathur, Chennai and for dentistry in Ramapuram. SRM provides its students with best of facilities, faculty, infrastructure and placement opportunities. Every year a large number of students apply for MBBS/BDS in SRM University and the competition is quite tough.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for SRM MBBS/BDS are expected to be available by June in University Campus and also from selected branches of Axis Bank, City Union Bank Limited, Indian Bank, Karur Vysya Bank Limited, State Bank of India and Post Offices. The form can also be obtained by post from SRM University by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form from the university website www.srmuniv.ac.in
