Job Description
1.1. Look after & manage the Radiology patients under the guidance of the consultant.
1.2. In the absence of the Consultant to faithfully look after the Radiology patients along the indicated line of treatment.
1.3. To be an in-house consultant for all emergency situations encountered in the hospital.
1.4. Actively participate in presentations of CME’s and Journal clubs.
1.5. Assist the consultants in all emergency cases. Assist in scheduling of cases and coordinating the radiology department activities.
1.6. Participate actively in the teaching program of nursing staff and technicians. To keep up-breast with the latest technology and innovations in the field of Radiology.
1.7. Supervise all nursing/para medical & non medical staff of the department to maintain discipline and high standard of medical care at the department as per standard operating procedure.
1.8. Assists the Consultant for:
1.8.1. Special material management requirement
1.8.2. Ensure quality of performance of the Neurosurgery department
1.8.3. Complaint redressal of patients
1.8.4. Co-ordination with patients for the surgeries
1.8.5. Co-ordination with the OT staff for the preparedness of the procedures like equipment, OT supplies, patient records and medical history etc.
The candidate should be MD / DNB in Radiology
