The Institute is looking for dynamic and motivated persons against the following
lateral entry positions:
Area: Microwave Tubes
1. Post - Scientist Gr.IV(2) – 3 Posts
a) Pay Scale - Rs.15600-39100 in PB-3 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6600
(Total emoluments Rs.30376/- P.M.)
b) Age limit - 35 years as on 10-8-2009.
c) Essential Qualifications : 1st
class BE/B.Tech./M. Sc.(Tech.) (Electronics or
equivalent)/ M. Sc. (Electronics/Physics or equivalent)- with 3 years experience in the relevant discipline/area of work.
OR
M.Tech./ME-with 2 years experience in the relevant discipline/area of work.
OR
Ph. D.- with 1 year experience in the relevant
discipline/area of work.
OR
Ph.D. (Engg.)
Desirable:
Specialization in Microwave Engineering/ Experience in design and development of Microwave Tubes such as Klystrons, MWT,Gyrotron and Magnetron through involvement in major projects and work reflected in publications.
