You will play a critical role in developing world-class Organic Chemistry databases. These Chemistry databases are used world-wide by scientists, researchers, academicians and patent professionals.
You will need to read and understand the essence of patents in the field of Organic Chemistry. Analyse key concepts, study and interpret generic claims/disclosures and also identify substances, their structures, reaction parameters etc and index them in pre-defined format.
A good knowledge of Organic/Peptide synthesis and an aptitude to read, analyse patents will help in these assignments.
You should be MSc or PhD in Organic Chemistry from a reputed University with an excellent academic record and 2-3 years of organic/peptide synthesis experience is essential.
Knowledge of other foreign languages such as German and French will be preferred.
Training will be provided to supplement your knowledge and experience in handling the assignments.
These positions are non-laboratory in a modern IT-enabled office, conveniently located in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune.
