Primary Responsibilities:
Candidate who will provide the technical leadership for a team of IHP software development and collaborate/influence the direction IHP. Candidate would be the bridge between the architects, software designers and the software developers. Would be responsible for all the detailed aspects of one area and would be influencer into complete arch. Would be comfortable in abstracting the module responsibilities to fit in the arch and detail the abstraction into technology, tool selection and implement able design to the developers. Would be a coach and mentor to the team members.
Qualifications: Skills required:
Technical skills :
- Designing and developing web based and distributed applications
- Designing and developing applications in Java (Core Java, J2EE, etc)
- Good knowledge of OOAD
- Good understanding the fundamentals of OS, Storage and network. Has exposure to the current trends in these areas.

Soft skills :
- Leading and working in a global team
- Ability to mentor team members.
- Has skills to discuss and influence various stake holders like Architects, product management and Engineering management
- Understands and have practiced the agile software methodologies

Skills which could be an added advantage:
Technical skills :
- Experience in developing or implementing system management tools (for provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup recovery etc)
- Good knowledge in areas of OS Virtualization, Storage and network technology.
Soft skills :
- Experience in building teams
- Experience in implementing software methodologies in engineering groups

Experience:
This person would be seen as a technical lead globally would be responsible for the technical aspects of strategic pieces. So the person should have a strong track record of designing and implanting complex software applications. Should have Bachelors in computer science or other engineering or equivalent and should have experience around 12+years .
