Departments offering Ph. D. admission:
M.Tech. (Biotechnology)/M.Tech. (Biochemical Engg.) OR M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences
Research Areas: Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Bio-process development.
The applicant must have Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CPI.
Eligibility
Ph.D. in Engineering: Applicant with Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 75% or equivalent CPI shall only be considered for admission.
Applicant with Master’s degree in Applied Sciences or any appropriate discipline with First Class with NET/UGC/CSIR/GATE or any other equivalent qualifying score shall be considered for admission.
However in case of exceptionally suitable candidate the requirement of NET/UGC/CSIR etc may be waived off, but such candidates will not be entitled for fellowship till they qualify any of these
Applicant has to apply on On-line through our website www.mnnit.ac.in following the instructions given on the link. All the applicants are required to go through the details given in information brochure before starting the On-line submission.
After On line completion the candidates are required to take the print of the filled application form. [Duly completed forms must reach the respective department(s)/cell/centre/school of the Institute on or before 11/12/2009 along with a Demand Draft of Rs 500/- in favour of Director MNNIT, Allahabad, payable at Allahabad.] examinations.

Test / Interview / Counselling dates and other instruction will be notified on 18.12.2009 on Institute website. No separate letter / Communication will be issued.
