Primary Responsibilities

* Establishing company’s strategy to meet growth & development plan.
* Reviewing & coordinating short & long term business plans.
* Ensure a top line growth achieved or exceeded
* Market intelligence - competition and industry
* Take ownership for all accounts in specific territory assigned and effectively communicate with key account manager for specified key accounts
* Ensure to book revenues as per Budget Plans, region wise.
* To lead Sales team & monitor the sales activities & growth.
* Live the SGS culture on a daily base



Specific Responsibilities

* Acquire new business from new customers
* Maintain and increase sales from existing accounts according to the overlying strategic and tactical plan in the assigned region
* Effectively communicate with all members of the Regional / Country Sales Team in order to ensure leveraging SGS’ network for new leads and opportunities
* Work closely with the operations including customer service for optimal servicing our customers
* To promote new analytical services to regional pharma industry.
* Coordinate with lab manager and business manager for any information.
* Plan and pursue all contacts and leads
* Focus on clients expectations
* Monitor Sales Activities by Sales Team and provides support & guidance to acquire new business & contracts.
* Prepare a monthly visit plan for entire Sales Team, share with KAM and align with Operations
* Provide monthly written reports including information on own activities, lost orders, customer list by revenues, observations in the market and competitive intelligence information for the assigned region
* Plan and pursue meetings with new and existing clients and prepare written report for each visit held in SalesLogix within 48 hrs.
* Create and maintain customer contacts, appointments, phone calls, notes etc. in SalesLogix
* Contact existing customers at least quarterly to determine any laboratory issues and funnel feedback to operations
* Review quarterly sales trend per account and determine the cause of loss account or reduction of revenues
* Join pharmaceutical associations and be an active member and encourage networking
* Comply to sales KPIs for instance 15 client visits per month per Sales Rep. etc.
* Hold at locations addressing the specific target customers promoting SGS service offering and serve as booth staff on exhibitions in your assigned region
* Support customer service and operations in proposal development and ensure that proposals are sent out on time for the assigned region
* Provide monthly rolling forecast on quarterly revenues for the assigned region
* Propose marketing and sales activities, pricing schedule and new services to Local and Regional Business Manager
