Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree in any area of Agricultural Sciences from a recognized
University
2. A Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences with at least 55% of marks (annual system) or CGPA of 3 out of 4 or OGPA 8 out of 10.
3. A Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences
4. A total experience of 18 years of Teaching / Research /Extension /Administration in
Universities / Colleges and other Institutions of higher education, out of which at least
8 years shall be in the cadre of Professor.
The applicants for the posts of Officers have to enclose the processing fee in the
form of Indian Postal Order / Demand Draft / Bankers Cheque for Rs.500/- (in case
of SC/ST Rs.200/- only) payable to Comptroller, UAS, Dharwad drawn within the period from 17.8.2009 to 25.9.2009 while submitting the filled in application pro-
forma.
Filled-in applications together with copies of testimonials should also be sent in an
envelope, superscribing on it, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___________”

on or before 4.00 p.m. on 25.9.2009 from the candidates staying in India and abroad. The candidates staying abroad may download the application proforma from the official website (www.uasd.edu) and submit the application forms along with the relevant documents and the prescribed fee in foreign
currency.
