Qualifications:-
1. Post Graduate Degree (Medical) in the respective discipline from a recognised University (Viz.MD/MS/DNB)
2. Permanent Registration under the State/Central Medical Registration Act.
Note:
1.Provisional Registration with any medical council will not be accepted.
2 .Candidates who have secured permanent Registration with other State/Central Medical Council will have to get themselves registered under the Travancore-Cochin Medical Practitioners Act before they join duty in the post.
3 Candidates who are appointed in the post should serve for 4(four) years during the first 10 (ten) years of their service (including the period of Training) anywhere in India or in any foreign country underDefence Service or assignments connected with Defence. This compulsory service is not applicable to those who have completed 45 (forty five) years of age.

The applications should be submitted only by Online facility provided in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of applications are available in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission viz;
www.keralapsc.org.No application fee is required. The bar code number in the application form shall be quoted in all further inquiries /correspondence.
Documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Application which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the Website will be summarily rejected. Separate applications should be submitted in case candidates desire to apply for more than one posts.
Last date for receipt of applications:18/11/2009 Wednesday up to 5 PM.
